She explains that Diwali is the festival of lights, which reminds people to overcome their inner darkness and embrace new light, hope and positivity. The festival also commemorates the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana, symbolising the victory of good over evil.

“दीप जले, फूल खिलें, सदा आपके द्वार पर,

यही कामना करते हैं दीपों के इस त्योहार पर।”
